No similar system has been announced yet for Diablo Immortal, but with a bit of forward planning among you and your friends, you won’t have to worry too much about it.

Final Fantasy XIV, for example, requires players to be on the same data center - which hosts a group of servers - to play together, though players can change server every three months, and for a fee.

It’s not an ideal situation for multiplayer, but it’s not the first multiplayer game to limit players to playing with people on the same server or data center. To make choosing the right server even more important, you can’t change your server with a character once you’ve chosen one, so if you pick a different server to the rest of your friends, you won’t be able to play with them. Regardless of whether you’re playing on PC or mobile, you’ll only be able to play with people on the same server as you. Their account name should then be visible in the box on the top left.This is the big one you’ll need to consider before you go eagerly joining any random server when you first boot up Diablo Immortal.

Step Five: Once the player is logged in, the sign-in page should close and return the player to the game.

Step Four: Players can sign in to their accounts.

Step Three: This should open a new window.

Step Two: Tap the box marked Guest in the top left of the screen.

Diablo Immortal’s PC and mobile versions feel identical, making it easier for players to dungeon crawl on PC and then pick up exactly where they left off on the go with their phones. Mobile players will have to log into their accounts but luckily, the process for linking players’ accounts on mobile is simple. If your taskbar is on the left (like mine usually is), or on the top of your screen, it throws the game into Windowed mode, no matter what. PC players should already have their accounts linked, as they have to log into the launcher to download and launch Diablo Immortal. Diablo Immortal will not allow the game to go into full screen unless your taskbar is on the bottom, or on the right side of you screen (from testing on my PC anyways).
